Mother Nature is the finest of artists. We humans can - and do - assist, on occasion. We leave materials out to weather; plant a tree or flower in "just the right place." And, on occasion, we take brush (or some other tool) to hand and attempt to do what Mother does naturally.

These images are the product of many factors - Mother Nature, an unknown builder, a sculptor or carver. But in all cases, I have served as a "final filter." I certainly was involved in capturing the images on light-sensitive materials. In many cases, I also manipulated the images using contemporary digital technology.
